Summer Dance Program 2012
Forty hand-selected students are carefully chosen from around the United States for a unique hands-on Summer Contemporary Intensive - the first of its kind in Boston! Students take six hours of classes Monday-Friday in Boston’s South End. Classes range from contempo modern, jazz, and ballet to hip-hop, partnering, choreography, leaps/turns, improvisation, and career counseling.
The program will culminate in a unique performance of rep learned during the program, as students perform in the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival, August 17-18, 2012.
Graduates of the program will be considered for a position in Urbanity Dance’s Apprentice Company, 2012-2013.

Requirements:
Inter/Adv Dancers Ages 15 & up who are ready for a challenge!
Tuition:
$750 for two-weeks tuition
Residential Options:
Urbanity does not offer a residential program. However we have several easy and affordable residential suggestions for out-of-town students, many within walking distance from the studio. Weekend and evening activities will be planned. Read more.

February 18, 2012: The program is filling up quickly! Accepted students may connect pre-program with other students by joining the Summer 2012 Facebook Group. This closed group allows students to connect to arrange housing or carpools if needed, or maybe just start counting down the days until an amazing summer ahead! :)

Admissions
The audition tour for Summer 2012 took place in Dec-Feb at five locations across the U.S.
